Samir Kuntar to return Lebanon very soon

I am not sure from the accuracy of this news , still it was published in

Lebanese newspaper “Addiyar

Samir Kuntar , the most famous Arab prisoner in Israel is packing his stuff to head to his home in Lebanon in the end of the month.

Kuntar is said to be the big Israeli offering in the POW exchange with Hezbollah and may be Hamas “I am not sure because Hamas is insisting on its prisoners who are hundreds”

Israel will take in return its pows from Hezbollah and may be Galid “again I am not sure”

To tell you the truth I do not think that Kuntar would return easily , the remaining  member of the Israeli family he allegedly killed will not let him go easily .

  3. @anonymous and @arabjew , not every thing is a conspiracy to me but history showed me that I should listen to the two sides of the story especially when you deal with the Israelis
I am deeply sorry Mrs.Smadar and I am sure she is not a liar but seeking the truth is not a bad thing

Samir Kuntar. The return of the child killer! Talk about freeing a murderer one year my senior has been hailed by some fellow Lebanese as yet another “Divine Victory”. Yes I am talking about the “hero” Samir Kuntar and his soon to be “shameless” release. Without a doubt our “Divine”/spiritual/ resistance/ leader will take credit for his safe return bombarding us with notions of how Samir was and still is the epitome of Hizbollah’s fight against the Zionist evil. On that ill fated day(and I do pray that it will never come) many of my fellow Lebanese (so called) will beat their chests in stupor in between speech poses delivered by the only patriotic leader (Hassouna that is). To those FUCKS I would like to point out that Samir was never part of Hizbollah when he and 3 others (Abdel Majid Asslan, Mhanna Salim Al Muayed, Mohammad Al Abras) took it upon themselves to attack NAHARIYA in Israel in an operation they called “Nasser”. This operation was commissioned by the PLF (Palestinian Liberation Front) under the leadership of Abou Abbass (does Achille Lauro ring a bell to any one?). After having killed a policeman who came across their way (that might be justified by some as part of a military operation) they split in two groups and the Hero to be, entered the apartment of the “Zionist” Dany Haran with intent to kill. The “soon to be hailed hero” took Dany and his daughter Einat (mother “Smadar”, other daughter “Yael” and a neighbor managed to hide) to the beach (and not for a picnic I can assure you). The “would be hero” shot Dany a close range and drowned him in the sea (to make sure he was dead, after all he is a thorough person) in front of his daughter (4 years of age, may I remind you), and then turned his rage (sorry Divine mission) against the child. He then started bashing her head with the butt of his riffle, and when need be using rocks to finish her off. This “so called hero” did not flinch. The other tragedy is that while hiding, the mother (Smadar) in an attempt to muffle the sounds and moans of her 2 years old daughter (Yael) had suffocated her own child. To cut a long story short, the only survivors of this “heroic adventures” (from the LEBANESE side) were Kuntar and his fellow “1/2 hero” Ahmad Al Abrass, who was later freed by Israel in the Ahmad Jibril prisoner exchange of May 1985. Attempts were made by the PLF to free Kuntar when they hijacked the Achille Lauro where a wheel chair bound “Zionist” (Leon Klinghoffer) was murdered with no avail. “The LEBANESE hero” Samir has admitted the murder of Dany and, yes wait for it, Einat; and was sentenced to spent the rest of his life in jail. Some “Zionists” even asked for the death penalty to be reinstated in this case. Rumor has it that “Kuntar”, the Hezb newfound hero, will be released by the end of the month in exchange for the 2 (Goldwasser and Regev) DEAD soldiers that our Divine protector (Hasouna that is) took in 2006 causing the destruction of MY country. How can any HUMAN rejoice and embrace the return of a cold blooded criminal and give him a hero’s welcome? If ever Kuntar will be freed and delivered to the Lebanese (not the Hizb) authority, he should be tied for having killed an innocent child, and such a crime in Lebanon (the one I know) holds the death penalty. To those who will rejoice for the return of such an evil incarnate, I say TFEH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. I've read alternatively that Kuntar admitted to the crimes wholesale, and that he admits killing the father but not the daughter; although the former account is more prevalent and there is significant witness testimony corroborating it. There does not seem to be grounds to doubt that Kuntar is, in fact, guilty of murder (in a quite depraved fasion).

The last family member surviving is quoted as saying her "soul is torn but her heart is whole" -- take that as you will. But all of us who are concerned with justice and a better world should be appalled that this deal is going down. The world will never heal and peace will never come if those who deliberately and ruthlessly kill children are not brought to justice (indeed, are celebrated as heroes).

  6. With my all respect to anonymous and Mr. David Schruab, as a Muslim and a human I refuse the murder of Children
in my opinion Justice says that equal penalties for the murderers of Children alike whether they are Arab or Israelis
I feel that lady and her anger because I am an Arab and believe me I know as eastern this fire
But let me tell you like her ,there are Palestinian and Lebanese mothers who see the murderers of their families free and treated like Heroes in Israel
Just like Samir Kanatar ,at least he stayed in jail since the age of 16 years old
do you get what I am saying
    Think about it

  7. I just came across this blog on a Google search looking for info about Kuntar's case. The debate about not to use the word "allegedly" caught my attention.

Kuntar's file had been locked away for 30 years and only made available now. Didn't find much in Google, just one story on Israeli foreign ministry's website. It seems like Kuntar denies the killings, at least he did in the courtroom.

When there's a 60-year conflict going on, there tends to be a lot of misinformation and coloured truth put out by both sides to get the support of the people. I've learned not to trust things, that seem rock solid and when you dig down to the roots, you find that there's actually little there. In this case, it was for 30 years just the announcement of Israel, that Kuntar is guilty. Believe it or don't, those are the options. Rest was a secret.

I don't know if Kuntar did it or if Haran really died from the israeli bullets. Honestly, I don't, but let that not bother you. I don't claim that the widow is a liar. She didn't actually see what happened, she was hiding in the appartment. What I'm saying is, that in a context of war, where creating an ultimate evil as an enemy is rather normal, it is more than justified to use the word "allegedly". To me it's a sign of healthy suspicion.
